The Presbytery Officers of the Ga Presbytery Young Adults’ Fellowship (YAF) of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana were officially inducted into office on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at the Eben-Ezer Congregation, Osu.

The induction service was officiated by the Ga Presbytery YAF Chaplain, Rev. Daniel Lankai Lawson who stood in for the Chairperson of Presbytery, and he was assisted by the Presbytery Director of Church Life and Nurture, Rev. Kwadwo Asamoah, the National YAF President, Bro. Frank Yeboah and the National YAF Organizer, Sis. Abigail Offei.

In his acceptance remarks, the newly inducted President, Mr. Ismaila Ibrahim, called for strong collaboration and support from all stakeholders to advance the work of the Fellowship. He expressed appreciation to past leaders for their dedicated service, noting their role in the successful completion of key projects.

“Our past executives have done so much to lift high the banner of Ga Presbytery YAF. A notable highlight is the completion of the pavilion project in Somsei in the Kwahu Presbytery,” Mr. Ibrahim stated. He further pledged to sustain and complete ongoing initiatives, including the Fellowship’s flagship Piggery Project, while committing to expanding the impact of YAF across the Presbytery and beyond.

The Clerk of the General Assembly of the PCG, Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor who also assumed office as District Minister of the Osu District assured the new leadership of the unwavering support of the Eben-Ezer Congregation and the Osu District. He expressed confidence in the President, who hails from the district, and encouraged the officers to lead with faith and diligence.

Delivering a word of counsel, the National YAF President, Bro. Frank Yeboah, urged the new executives to keep members informed and actively engaged in their vision.

“It is very important for leaders to communicate the vision clearly to the grassroots so that members rally behind and support you fully,” he emphasized in an interview with GaP News.

The immediate past executives were honoured for their outstanding service to the Fellowship.

In attendance were other Ministers of the PCG, members of the Ga Presbytery YAF Council, Old Students of St. Thomas Aquinas – the alma mata of the President, and other dignitaries from the YAF fraternity.
