Okushibiri Preaching Point gets a worship pavilion

On Monday, 5th April, 2021, the Chairperson of Presbytery, Rev. Dr. Abraham Nana Opare Kwakye assisted by Clerk of Presbytery, Rev. Solomon Nii Mensah Adjei; Lay Representative, Mr. Ludwig Hesse and Tema North District Minister Rev. Dr. George Kwapong, dedicated a worship pavilion for the Okushibiri Preaching Point in the Tema North District.
In a short exhortation, Rev. Dr. Kwakye charged the leadership and congregants of the Okushibiri Preaching Point to make good use of the facility and also see it as God’s gift to them.
The pavilion project is part of General Assembly’s decision to build over 300 hundred of such facilities to help congregants in less endowed areas who usually worship under trees and tents to have convenient places of worship. This is being done across all Presbyteries of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana.
A total of 6 Pavilions are to be built in the Ga Presbytery by the General Assembly office. On the other hand, Ga Presbytery would build 11 more pavilions in support of the General Assembly’s vision. The total cost of Okushibiri’s pavilion was around 80,000 Ghs.
