Ga Presbytery School of Ministry 18th graduation ceremony

On 18th December 2021, the 193rd birthday of the PCG, the Ga Presbytery School of Ministry organized its eighteenth graduation day ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana-Bethlehem Congregation, Teshie. Graduating students were awarded Certificates in Theology by Rev. Prof. B. Y. Quarshie, Chair of the School Board and Rector Akrofi-Christaller Institute. A total of 24 graduands; 13 men and 11 women passed out at the ceremony.
9 of the graduates were consecrated as Catechists. The Consecration was officiated by the Chairperson of the Ga Presbytery, Rev. Dr Abraham Nana Opare-Kwakye, who was assisted by the Clerk of Presbytery, Rev. Solomon Nii-Mensah Adjei.
The Special Guest Speaker, Rev. Prof. Eric Anum, entreated the graduands to hold dear the training they had received. He admonished them to approach the discharge of their duties with competence, character and creativity at all times and added that they should strive to add value to themselves at all times.
In attendance were Rev Jonathan Ayitey Mensah, the Director of the Ga Presbytery School of Ministry; Rev. Dr Joyman Otchwemah, the Registrar of the Ga Presbytery School of Ministry, faculty members and some Ministers of the PCG.
