On the 29th of November 2023.
The GA Presbytery donated items to victims of the Akosombo Spillage at Mepe. The event took place at the PCG Furrer
Doku congregation, Mepe. The team led by the Clerk of Presbytery Rev. Isaac Quist arrived at the place at about 11 am. They were received by the District Minister of Mepe and his Elders. After a ministration by the Rev Adjetey Sowah, the M and E Director for GA Presbytery, many of the anxious affected victims responded to the altar call. There after, the donations began. People received rice, beans, soap, oil, tin tomatoes, clothes, sanitary pads, water, and mattresses. The children were fed with jolof and chicken. It was an amazing moment to see the smiles and joy on the faces of people. Over 500 people gathered, including children and the youth. We take this opportunity to say thank you all congregations within the GA Presbytery who gave generously to make this mission outreach possible.
