Pupils of the Christ Presbyterian Preparatory and Junior High School, Darkuman entertained Congregants of the Darkuman Christ Presbyterian Church with poem recital, Bible quotations, news reports and choreography as part of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana’s education week program.
The program was organized to raise funds for the building of an ultra-modern school complex which is to be started next year.
The Rev. Mrs. Rebecca F. A. Abladey the Minister In-Charge of the Congregation called on parents to take the education of their wards seriously, for it is the best legacy they can give them.
She said education is the back-bone of every nation and that the Church in its small way will support government in that regard. The Minister noted that, there should be cooperation between government and the church when it comes to issues of education delivery.
Rev. Rebecca Abladey, appeal to the congregants to help contribute in raising funds for the Church to embark on the school project, which is the Darkuman Christ Presbyterian Church’s social responsibility to the society and the nation as a whole.
