Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor, Ga Presbytery Chairperson of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has said the Presbyterian Church of Ghana will continue to support its school with resource to improve on their performance over the.
However, he urged student of the Presbyterian schools to let discipline be their hallmark because “education is not just about coming out with flying colors in their exams” but what would separate them from other students, was exceptional moral character.
Rev. Dr. G. N. N. Odonkor made the observation at the induction of Ms. Barbara Buerkie Puplampu as new Headmistress of Presbyterian Senior High School, Osu.
He urged the students

Sermon
In a sermon on the theme: “Die with Jesus and Live” the Chairperson said that there was the need for every Christians to be broken spiritually before the best can come out of them, adding that unless a seed is rotten in the ground it cannot germinate.
He urged Christians to accept challenges in life as a stepping stone to good Christian growth. He added that challenges come our way to make us better and stronger.
Induction Rite
Rev. William Quaye (Clerk, Ga Presbytery) read out the CV of Ms. Barbara Buerkie Puplampu and handed her over to the Chairperson for her induction rite. Rev. Dr. Odonkor inducting Ms. Barbara Buerkie Puplampu into office, urged her to be an exemplary leader and assist the school to excel in her endeavours.
Short Address

Ms. Barbara Buerkie Puplampu in an address urged the students to obey school rules and appealed to parents to allow the authorities to instil discipline and good moral character in the students without any interference.
She promise to continue in the good work of her predecessor to build on the good image of the school.
Ms. Barbara Buerkie Puplampu was appointed Headmistress of Osu Presec in 2014.
Present at the induction were the staff, PTA, old students and students of the school as well as some clergy of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana in the Ga Presbytery.
