The National Catechist Spouses Conference thanksgiving service came off successfully at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Immanuel Congregation under the theme “When the Holy Spirit Moves: The Response of the Catechist Spouse”. The Sermon was preached by Rev. Michael G. Anim-Tetey, District Minister of the Madina District and Minister in Charge of the Immanuel Congregation. He noted that the calling of the Catechist Spouse was an essential one that is fraught with a lot of challenges and problems. However, with the strength and indwelling of the Holy Spirit they will overcome every challenge and problems they face in their calling as spouses of Catechists in the Presbyterian Church. He admonished that a Catechist Spouse without the infilling of the Holy Spirit will be detrimental to the Ministry of his or her spouse. He encouraged that when storms and challenges arise in the Ministry of their spouses it beholds on them to strengthen and bear their spouses up in prayer. Rev. Michael G. Anim-Tetey cautioned that without prayer, things will be difficult for the spouses’ ministry since the calling is not an easy one. He added that the calling of the Catechist spouse is a special one which demands a peculiar and Holy Spirit filled life style which must advance the Kingdom of Christ in the Ministry of their spouses. He challenged them to take up the mandate of their calling seriously and through prayer and anointing from the Holy Spirit advance the Ministry of their spouses.
