Induction of Clerk of Presbytery

On Sunday, 16th November, 2014 at 9:30am at the Presbyterian Church, Resurrection Congregation in the Accra Central District, the newly elected Clerk of Ga Presbytery, Rev. William Korley Quaye will be inducted into office.
Rev. William Quaye was elected during the 2014 Presbytery Meeting held at the Presbyterian Women’s Centre, Abokobi in April 2014. He took over from Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey, who completed her 4-yearterm on 31st August, 2014. The Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey was the second female to be elected Clerk of the Presbytery.
The Rev. William Quaye who holds a first degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology was commissioned in 2002 after his theological training at the Trinity Theological Seminary from 1999 to 2002. He was Ordained in 2004 and has served in these congregation; Osu Ebenezer, Kpone-on-Sea, James Town and lastly Hope, Sakumono Estates as the District Minister of Sakumono before his election as the clerk of Presbytery.
Notably among his experiences as a Minister of the Gospel is being the Chief Recorder at the Annual Presbytery meetings from 2009 to date. The Rev. William Korley Quaye is married to Mrs. Patience Naa Ashorkor Quaye, a Senior Police Officer of the Ghana Police Service and are blessed with two children; a girl and a boy.
