Ga Presbytery Staff Celebrates Christmas

The Staff of Ga Presbytery organized a maiden Festival of Lessons and Carols to commemorate the Christmas. The event took place on Friday 16th December, 2012 at the Chapel of the Jubilee House. The Presec, Osu Choir was in attendance and they provided melodious carols to usher all into the Season. The revelation of the day was the outdooring of the Ga Presbytery staff Choir. The Choir, made up of the members of Staff of the Presbytery, rendered melodious carols at the service. In a Christmas message, the Presbytery Chairperson asked all to celebrate the birth of Christ with thanksgiving and praise to a God who has been there for us throughout the year. He challenged all to think of the many people who, like the parents of Christ, have nowhere to lay their heads, the numerous street children and the disadvantage in society.  He also called for a thought for men and women who are serving our country and humanity in general by keeping the peace in place far away from their homes.

Among the numerous persons who graced the occasion where District Ministers, Mr. E. O. Adjetey, a renowned  Architect , Mr. J.N.D Tetteh, M.D of Merchant Bank, Mama Dankwa and Mrs. Sophia Holm of the PCG National Women’s Fellowship, Mr. Ludwig Hesse of the  National Children’s Ministery and Rev. Esther Adjetey, Director of the Women’s Centre. Abokobi.
