Ga Presbytery School of Ministry Graduation and Consecration

The Ga Presbytery School of Ministry on Saturday, 26th November, 2016 presented a Students for graduation at the Paulo Mohenu Memorial Presbyterian Church, Aboma in the Teshie District of the Ga Presbytery. These Students were from the two campuses of the School of Ministry, the Osu and Amasaman. Twenty Eight (28) from the Osu Campus and Eighteen (18) from the Amasaman Campus.

Twenty (20) students earned Lay Ministerial Training Certificate and were later consecrated as Catechists. They underwent a two year period of study. The remaining students earned a Certificate in Theology and took a period of one year to complete. Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey performed the consecration assisted by Rev. Rev. Dr. William K. Quaye Clerk of Prebytery.

Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey, the Chairperson of Ga Presbytery in his sermon Themed “You are called for a purpose” to the Graduates and the Congregation, he encouraged the graduates to allow the word of God to dwell richly in them be able to make an impact.

The students with a thankful and grateful hearts made a presentations to their lecturers. Also, the Paolo Mohenu Memorial Presbyterian Church Session presented a token to all the graduating Catechists.

Over 500 distinguished guests, family and friends attended the ceremony to share in the success of the graduates. The management and staff of the Ga Presbytery School of Ministry wish all the graduates success in their future careers or studies.
