The Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana has donated motorbikes, bicycles and helmets to the Ga West Mission Field to boost its evangelism drive.
The Sefwi and Volta Presbyteries of the Presbyterian Church also received a motorbike and a helmet each.
Making the presentation, the Ga Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor said the gesture made to the Ga West Mission Field and two Presbyteries was financed by the Presbytery, some Districts, Congregations and some Individuals in the Presbytery.
The Chairperson advised the beneficiaries to use the motorbikes and bicycles for the intended purpose; that is to step up the work of evangelism, discipleship and church planting in the Ga West Mission Field and beyond.
The total cost of the motorbikes and the bicycles was estimated at a cost GH¢30, 000 Cedis, and all the motorbikes had been registered.
Mr. Richmond Atuahene, Lay Representative for the Ga Presbytery on the General Assembly Council of the Church, on behalf of the Ga Presbytery, presented the keys of the motorbikes to the Ga West Mission Field Coordinator, Rev. Alfred Akpo Ayite-Atiapa and the Volta Presbytery Chairperson, Rev. Daniel Opong-Wereko
