Ga Presbytery Clerk To Handover

Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey, the second woman Minister of the Presbyterian Church to occupy the seat of Clerk, the second highest position in the Ga Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church will officially handover to Rev. William Korley Quaye on Monday 1st September 2014.

The handing over ceremony will take place at the Presbytery Office, Jubilee House Osu. In attendance will be the immediate family of the outgoing Clerk, Presbytery Staff, Departmental Directors, Standing Committee Members and the Presbytery Chairperson.

Rev. William Quaye will from 1st September this year officially takes over responsibilities of the Office of the Clerk of Presbytery.

Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey as the second woman to occupy the seat as Clerk of the Ga Presbytery after her predecessor, Rev. Esther Adjetey, has worked so well to lift up the office of the Clerk to a higher status which gives the incoming Clerk a great challenge.

The Presbytery is grateful to her service as a Clerk with a difference.

Rev. Rose Teteki Abbey holds’ a Masters degree in Theology and Development from the University of Edinburgh and is married to Rev. Victor Okoe Abbey, also a Minister of the Presbyterian Church.
