The Ga Presbytery Chairperson of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Dr. Godwin Nii Noi Odonkor has performed a ceremony to graduate 19 students of PRESEC who underwent a two year junior seminary training dubbed “Leadership Development Centre” (LDC) to position them for future leadership.
Graduating the first batch of the young seminarians, Rev. Dr. N. N. Odonkor noted that he was happy that a long awaited dream of the Presbytery and the entire Presbyterian Church has come to reality. Adding that it was a platform to groom the youth of the Church into Ministry.
The Chairperson in his address, asked the young seminarians to put the knowledge they have acquired to use in the church and the community.

“We have work to do. Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has work to do. But if anybody can and must do it, if anyone can make things happen, then it’s you! It’s you because you didn’t drop out. It’s you because you are young and unencumbered and invincible.”
“Our Church needs young people as you are to make a change but a change that will transform the church and make a difference,” he told the young seminarians.
Ms Lady Queen Asiedu-Akrofi, Headmistress of PRESEC, Legon in her address reminded the new junior seminarians that they have affirmed to the whole world that they will live for God. Adding that the call demands dedication and self-control, hence they should not forget that challenges will come their way, but they should be able to stand firm in all the challenges to the end.
She appealed to the Church to consider the graduat

es in the near future for Ministerial position in the congregations across the country.
Certificates of training were presented to the graduates for participating in the two year program.
The courses the graduates studied were; Biblical Studies, Evangelism and Discipleship, Leadership Studies and Presbyterian Identity.
In another development the occasion was used to baptize and confirm some Presbyterian students of the school.
